Skills

I have been trained on Avid, iMovie and Adobe Premiere editing software and have also used Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and ImageReady frequently. Final Draft has been used to write all of my scripts and the University and College I attended have trained me on various cameras and lighting equipment.

I also did regular news reports on Cambridge Regional College’s radio station and continued my interest in radio presenting at University where I wrote and presented my own show as well as producing others on the station.

In my last year at university I created a final project which I wrote, directed and edited. On this project I managed to show my technical skills, communication skills when directing actors and my written skill through my script work. Simultaneously I was starting to write reviews for the local newspaper which I did while still meeting all my deadlines.

I also won the best video showreel award 2008 at the university which was voted for by industry professionals.

Interests   My biggest interests are related to film. I collect films having a DVD collection of over 250, try to watch as many of the latest releases as possible, read various magazines and watch documentaries about the behind the scenes of the film industry. I have taken part working on short films and I spend a lot of my free time writing and in the past enjoyed presenting University and College radio. I also have volunteered and helped local Scout groups on camping trips and have taken part in various expeditions myself. I go swimming and play tennis and have won various University poker tournaments.
